USHRA Monster Truck Jam

This weekend CSR Racing participated in the USHRA Monster Truck Jam and Quad Racing event. This is about as far away from from GNCC and Cross Country Racing as you can get, but man, it was fun!

The event was held at the Macon Centreplex in Macon, GA. The first event, on Friday night, was followed by two events on Saturday. Saturday at noon, the fans had the opportunity for an autograph signing session. It was great! The quad racers probably had writers cramp after the event, they signed so many autographs. It was fun to see everyone get into the event, especially the kids! Seeing the smiles of all the kids, and the friendly fans, was probably the best part.

A special thanks goes out to Brad Lord. Scott's bike was setup for cross country, and the event was a flat-track paved course. Brad had an extra set of flat-track tires that he loaned Scott. After the tires and a little suspension adjustment and tire pressure, Scott started having fun. In fact Brad won a heat race and Scott won his leg of the relay race! Thanks Brad!

Everyone was very helpful, and the competitors were friendly and cooperative. We made lots of friends and really enjoyed the event. Those guys that compete regularly in the event are fast! Scott really enjoyed competing and hopes he made some new fans. The organizers of the event were very nice and from the reaction of the crowd, I think everyone had a great time!

Even though Scott didn't have any trees to bounce off of and no creek crossings, he had a great time. I took hundreds of picture over the weekend. Go over to our site and check 'em out.

Stadium Race

We worked late into the night prepping the bike for a couple of Stadium Exhibition Races this weekend. The races are going to be at the Macon Centriplex. Brad Lord, from Dublin, is friends with the group that sets up the events, so Brad and Scott were placed on the bill. Scott is doing this mostly for fun and to get a little seat time on the bike.

We have the bike mostly ready except for a few things, like the Hiper wheels, and tires. Some of the other stuff like bolting up skids and nerfs and such. We need them but he can ride without them. I will be going up to assist and wrench. No graphics yet, but we have a few weeks until Daytona.

Cam and Brenda left this morning for the ski trip. They are going to West Virginia. It looks like they will have plenty of snow and cold temps to make for lots of fun.
